It’s 4 May – or Star Wars Day. I didn’t have ingredients for anything more exotic, but this is straight from the source of authority. The drinks at Galaxy’s Edge better taste this nice.
Ingredients for 1 drink (193 cal):
- 250ml milk (I used Morrisons’ own semi-skim)
- 12.5g caster sugar (Silver Spoon)
- 1 tsp vanilla flavouring (Tropical Sun)
- blue food colouring (Morrison’s own – I’m not prescriptive on the amount, but the colouring I used was 1ml/cal)
Instructions:
- Mix the first three ingredients, then add blue food colouring to taste.
Recommendations:
- I’ll try full-fat milk next time, just to check if it holds the colour better, because it was a bit paler at the bottom than the top.
- Low-key I know that Galaxy’s Edge serves Blue Milk that tastes different. This has a French Toast thing going on (hello vanilla), and over in East Batuu even the base is different, with coconut and rice milk, alongside flavours that remind folks of flowers. Don’t make this, thinking that because it’s the official stuff it’s what you’ll get in the Black Spire Outpost.
Feel free to drop me a comment with your favourite way to honour Star Wars Day. Or have you visited either Edge of the Galaxy and tried the real Blue or Green Milk – and what was that like?
